Charism
Mother Maria Teresa of St. Joseph prayerfully envisioned a twofold interflow of contemplative spirit and the active service in the apostolates. For us to soar toward His heights, we need both wings! Our order’s unique branch of the ancient tree of Carmel aggregates directly with the First Order of Discalced Carmelites. This union of monasticism blended with everyday exterior activity became our mission, “a gift to the Church and the world”! (Rule pg 6)
