Three of our young sisters went to the Annual Wisconsin State Fair which is just about 2 miles from our Provincial Home in Wauwatosa. They enjoyed the day including posing for this caricature, watching the sea lion splash, pig races, mule & donkey show, dog show, riding the sky glider to see the whole aerial view of the state fair grounds.

On July 13, 2017, St. Joseph's Carmelite Home celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Religious Profession of Sister M. Annunciata and Sister Helena Marie.  Congratulations, Silver Brides.


Both sisters cared for the children in this Home for many years.  Together, they have rendered 35 years of loving service to the babies, children, and adolescent girls.

Bishop Donald Hying (Diocese of Gary) was the Main Celebrant.  Reception and entertainment by Sisters and children followed.

Sister Faustina Marie of the Blessed Sacrament & Sister M. Rose Therese of the Mother of the Good Shepherd professed their Perpetual Vows last July 2, 2017 in the Provincial House (Wauwatosa), a Holy Mass was officiated by Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Richard J. Sklba and concelebrated by Rev. Antony Thundathil, MST. 

Also, the 25th Anniversary of Sister M. Annunciata of the Holy Spirit & Sister Helena Marie of St. Paul was celebrated along with the 60th and 65th Jubilees of Sister M. Juliana and Sister Mary Augustine.

Family members and friends were present to share the joy of our sisters.

Mother Angelina and the representatives of the respective provinces in the North America
(Northern, Central, Southwest and Canada) met for a meeting this lovely Memorial Day
last May 29 Monday in the Provincial House of the North Province.  

That same day, the North American provinces greeted Mother Angelina in advance for
her Golden Anniversary of Religious Profession and shared a wonderful dinner with the rest of the sisters. 

MAY 14, 2017
68th Street, Milwaukee, WI

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Our Lady’s apparition in Fatima.
Roses For Our Lady invited us for the 37th annual May Crowning on Mother’s Day, May 14.
Events included Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Crowning of Our Lady’s statue by
First Communicant, followed by an outdoor Eucharistic Procession with rosary and hymns,
benediction and reflection. Fr. Tim Kitzke and Fr. Enrique were the guest priests.



Month of Mary, month of is planting time for the sisters when they fill the pots and planters with different kinds of flowers and vegetables.  By the end of May, they crown the Blessed Mother by the Grotto.

MAY 7, 2017
St. Eugene’s Church, Fox Point, WI

The afternoon event was attended by about 40 Religious brothers, sisters and laity of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. St. Eugene’s Church hosted the service which included the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Rosary, hymns and vocation stories. The participants were asked to bring a picture of their favorite image of the Blessed Mother and processed to the grotto.

APRIL 2017
Grand Rapids, Michigan

Sister Anne Marie of Our Mother of the Eucharist graduated from Grand Rapids Community College where she took Associate in Music. Grand Rapid Community prepared a graduation party where Sister’s parents, relatives and sisters attended.



Wauwatosa and Kenosha Communities spent the day in Kenosha on Easter Sunday.
Sister Mary Emmanuel cooked a very sumptuous meal and Sisters enjoyed a delightful afternoon.

JANUARY 8, 2017

Sr. M. Jacinta of Our Lady of Fatima celebrated her 70th Anniversary of Religious Profession.
A Thanksgiving Mass was offered followed by a luncheon for the Sisters, staffs and friends.
